London, UK: Grayson Perry: The Most Popular Art Exhibiton Ever!
On 8th June one of the most renowned commentators on contemporary society and culture, Grayson Perry will open the doors to his major exhibition of new work. The exhibition tackles many themes like popularity and art, masculinity and the current cultural landscape and it showcases Perry’s work with a number of different medias such as ceramics, cast iron, bronze, printmaking and tapestry. Perry also attempts to tackle one of his biggest concerns, how contemporary art can best address a diverse cross section of society.

Montreal, Quebec, Canada: The Mural Festival
The first Mural Festival took place in 2012 and over the years has grown into a unique celebration of the arts – last year’s festival saw 1.15 million unique visitors to Montreal! Currently there are over 80 murals and installations in the city and each bring ‘change and wonder to the communities they inhabit’. This year’s festival sees 21 street artists for all over the world, including France, Spain and Australia who will be painting brand new murals all over the city’s walls. There will also be block parties, guided tour of the murals and an Enchanted Forest exhibition hosted by Lululemon happening, so there is plenty of fun stuff to get involved with. There will also be a number of different food trucks, outdoor terraces and pop up stores on the sidewalk between Sherbrooke and Mont-Royal. Basel, Switzerland: Art Basel
Art Basel is the world’s leading modern and contemporary art fair that takes place every year in Miami Beach, Hong Kong and Basel. June’s event brings the international art world together in the city of Basel and has 291 leading galleries showcasing the works of over 4,000 artists. There are eight different art sections to explore in this year’s show, as well as a series of conversations concerning the global contemporary art scene. If you’re in or near Basel from the 15th to the 18th of June and you love modern and contemporary art, then this is most definitely the event for you.

Las Vegas, USA: Electric Daisy Carnival
Electric Daisy Carnival is undoubtedly one of the biggest and best electronic music festivals in the world and it’s back again for 2017! EDC Las Vegas is like a giant adult amusement park filled with bright lights, rides, amusements, and incredible music. Insomniac Events are the team who put together this magical event and they’re renowned for booking the best electronic acts and showcasing them on an incredible stage set up with awesome visuals and pyrotechnics. This year you’ve got some huge EDM names like Afrojack, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Alesso and Marshmallow performing, but there are a ridiculous number of acts booked to perform over the three days – you’ll be spoilt for choice. EDC Las Vegas is also a little bit different in terms of accommodation…. If you’re someone who’s idea of hell is camping in a hot tent, then EDC is the festival for you – there’s zero camping at EDC. Instead you can book yourself into one of the many hotels that Las Vegas has to offer and once you’ve spent your day/night raving away to your favorite artists you can enjoy the comforts of a nice warm shower and cozy bed. EDC is an electronic music lovers’ paradise and definitely a festival you can’t miss out on in June.

FASHIONCLASH Festival in an annual event that focuses on young, emerging designers and artists, who are active within a broad range of disciplines and gives the designers and artists a chance to show off their skills and talent. Their work is all linked to fashion in some way, for example via textile, photography, video, jewelry, performance, dance and accessories. FASHIONCLASH is the perfect opportunity to discover new talents and find your fashion inspiration. Over the four days you can attend fashion shows, exhibitions, markets, theatre and dance performances, workshops and presentations, as well as browse through a number of pop-up stores.

London, UK: Graduate Fashion Week 2017
Graduate Fashion Week is now in its 26th year and showcases the most innovative and exciting emerging talent over the four-day event in London. It’s the largest platform in the world for new BA fashion talent and is supported by some huge names like Vivienne Westwood, Victoria Beckham and Nick Knight. Some of the most talented graduates in design, creative direction, marketing, communication, photography, illustration and all aspects of the modern business of fashion have a chance to showcase their work and it’s a fantastic opportunity for them to launch their careers into the fashion world. Graduate Fashion Week has 22 catwalk shows in total and there are a number of live talks and masterclasses given by established designers, celebrities and industry experts. It’s an event that represents the incredible future of creative design and talent and it’s definitely an event you can’t miss if you’re obsessed with fashion!

Atlanta, Georgia: Outerspace Project
2017 sees the third installment of the Outerspace Project in Atlanta, a week-long event series that brings awesome street art to the walls of Atlanta. The main aim of the Outerspace Project is to enhance outdoor spaces, expand the mind and bring the public together by breathing new life back into the streets of Atlanta, as well as create a positive vibe in the city. The event brings incredible street artists from the West Coast, Europe, South America and of course Atlanta, and merges public art, live music, design, action sports and culture. The 2016 event saw some huge street art names like Felipe Pantone, Greg Mike, Drew Merritt descend into Atlanta to create some pretty amazing murals which you can check out on the website here. The Outerspace Project ends with one huge party called ‘The Big Bang’, and combines live art installations, musical performances, a gallery exhibition, interactive games, a pop-up shop and a whole load of activities to enjoy. The Outerspace Project is the perfect event to get out into the streets of Atlanta and support the ever growing street art community.
