‘Everything a typical music festival is not…’

Taking place at the historic Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds, north of San Diego on the Sunny Southern California coast is KAABOO. An event that is so much more than your typical music festival…

KAABOO pitches itself as a new kind of entertainment and arts experience that has been designed around comfort, quality and good times – we love the sound of it already! It takes place over three days and combines world-class music, awesome food, craft libations, inspirational art and enough comedy to make your tummy hurt from laughing – it’s an experience that’ll overload your senses.

Every single detail at KAABOO has been meticulously designed and planned to create the best experience possible – a modern day wonderland. Worried you’ll get too hot dancing in the Californian sun? KAABOO has numerous indoor, climate-controlled experiences for you to shelter from the sun! Or what about getting sore feet after standing for hours and hours? KAABOO has lots of seating areas, common spaces, restaurants and service plazas that have been plotted in to give you a rest when you need it. And let’s be honest, when it comes to festivals everyone dreads going to the toilet, a nice and clean porta-loo is indeed a rarity! But at KAABOO you needn’t worry, they’ve even made sure there are clean, regularly serviced flush facilities to use until your heart’s content – what more could you want?!

Now, let’s get down and dirty with a few of the finer details of what you can expect if you’re planning on attending this year…

LOTS OF LAUGHS

If you fancy a little break from boogying to your favorite band then you’re in luck as KAABOO has its very own comedy club – Humor Me. So be prepared to laugh till you cry at some nationally recognized comedians including David Spade, Sebastian Maniscalco, Bryan Callen and many more!

IMMERSIVE ART

A huge part of KAABOO is art, offering public art and a contemporary art fair for festival attendees to enjoy. As you walk around the festival you will see an abundance of incredible art installations, some which you will get to see come to life before your very own eyes – it truly is an immersive art experience filled with delight and discovery. Or maybe you’re feeling so inspired by the art that you wish you could take a piece home with you after your weekend? Well you can do just that as the contemporary art fair has almost 100 national and international artists displaying their latest work for you to buy. We’re particularly excited about the art aspect of KAABOO one of our very first Artist of the Month artists Felipe Pantone will be in attendance, so make sure you check out his work!
