Amplify RED’s theme for December is the art of giving, with an emphasis on re-using and re-purposing, so with that in mind we decided to set three fashion bloggers a pretty thrifty challenge…
We gave three bloggers $50 to create a completely new look, however all of the clothing must have been purchased from a thrift/vintage store. Each blogger had free reign to style the outfit however they wanted to, but the items of clothing that they are styling were all be second hand.
So without further adieu let us introduce you to the ladies who accepted our vintage challenge and see how they got on with their shopping…
Coming in Clutch
Bryanna Bach is the face behind Coming in Clutch, a fashion and beauty blog where she styles pieces from her wardrobe that will accommodate any occasion that she encounters. Whether she’s running around Cincinnati or exploring the world, she knows how’s to have style that will always come in clutch. Bryanna wanted to be able to have an edge to her competition once she joined the fashion industry and was intrigued by the rise of influential marketing. From that effective trend, Coming in Clutch was born. Her style tends to resemble similarly to a chameleon and is ever changing. Regardless of the style she feels to represent that day, she always adds a unique edge to every outfit.

Slightly Flirty is a fashion and lifestyle blog created by Gina Papa. Gina is originally from New Jersey and started her career working in New York City and California representing well established fashion brands like Tom Ford. Her experience led her to work with public relations agencies representing young brands and startups from fashion to technology for almost a decade. With a strong background in PR and a deep love for fashion she has successfully represented brands and positioned them for long standing growth. As a social media influencer, she builds relationships without sacrificing her personal style maintaining a devoted following.
She started her blog in 2015 sharing unique stories about travel, lifestyle and her personal fashion. Her audience not only get visuals of her experiences but also get the personal stories behind each post. She still works in PR staying on top of industry trends, whilst also managing the Slightly Flirty brand and is excited to see what the future will bring as she continues to share her moments with her followers and creatives.

The Haute Heel
Andrea Cheong is the lady behind The Haute Heel, a London based style blog that was started in 2011 after Andrea spent a summer abroad. She is also a features writer and an illustrator. She studied art history at UCL and started The Haute Heel after deciding she needed some kind of portfolio if she wanted to work in fashion after graduating. After seeing how the fashion blogging industry developed Andrea realised that blogs and social media were more than just forms of documentation but sites to experiment with creativity and form communities. Andrea travels around the world almost every month and this travelling lifestyle inspires her each day to put together amazing outfits and photograph them.
