Austin City Limits by Katrina Barber

Now in its 12th year Austin City Limits is bigger and better than ever before, with two weekends of fun to enjoy (the line up is duplicated for both weekends). The festival showcases some of the biggest names in rock, pop and jazz and has a huge focus on creating a real good family friendly vibe for the event. There are eight stages in total and previous years have seen household names like The Strokes, Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire perform, so you know you won’t be disappointed with the line up. There will also be some delicious local food vendors on site that you can refuel at in between sets, as well as an on-site brewery featuring local Texas beers, sounds like a dream festival to us!

Florida, USA: Suwannee Hulaween 2017

Suwannee Hulaween takes place in the perfect setting, it’s outside underneath giant, mossy trees – the ideal place for a spooky Halloween festival. The festival is organized by the String Cheese Incident and year after year they manage to secure an incredible line up of jam bands, EDM artists, funk, hip-hop and reggae performers – previous headliners have included Chance the Rapper, Big Gigantic and Eliot Lipp. The music starts at around noon each day and festival attendees have the choice of four stages to bop between throughout the event. It goes without saying that fancy dress is a must for this Halloween Spooktacular festival so don’t forget to pack your outfits! Suwannee Hulaween also encourages campsite decoration with the most creative site awarded with VIP tickets so get your cobwebs, skeletons, pumpkins, and tombstones out and get decorating! There’s also a little pre-party on the Thursday for those who want to pay a little bit extra and listen to some more artists in a more intimate atmosphere.
